Ritchy Group, a leading European e-liquid manufacturer, participated in the Conference on Tobacco and Health, organized by the working group for the prevention and cure of tobacco addiction under the Czech Medical Association (CLS JEP), in cooperation with the Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence (SLZT), the Centre for tobacco addicts under Charles University in Prague, and the Research centre for hygiene and epidemiology.
The conference was headed by Mrs. Prof. MU Dr. Eva Kralikova Ph.D., the president of the “Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence.”
More than 80 participants, mainly scientists, clinical doctors, and medical personal, representing more than 40 tobacco addiction treatment centers, discussed the following topics:
• National strategy for prevention and harm reduction linked to addictions
• Prevalence of using tobacco and nicotine in the Czech Republic
• Smoking and socio-economic status
• Big tobacco myths
• Psychotherapy in curing tobacco addiction
• Control of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems
Ritchy Group has informed the participants about the Basics of E-cigarettes, our focus and dedication to vaping quality standards, manufacturing excellence, and safety, and suggested considering all open-source research and data on vaping that illustrates vaping as a viable alternative of nicotine delivery.
Vaping and e-cigs were also publicly supported at the conference by Professor Eva Kralikova, who is the organizer of this conference as well as Chairwoman of SLZT — Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence, and who is also running many TOBACCO ADDICTION CENTERS (medical clinics for smokers) across the Czech Republic.
